Fashion suites at Cannes: where celebrities get ready for the red carpet

The Cannes Festival is my favourite red carpet event of all. Glamour, elegance, and good movies. The city is packed with movie stars and there's fashion everywhere.

The most important labels get fashion suites at the two most famous hotels in Cannes: Hotel Martinez and the Majestic. If you were planning to book a room for the next Cannes Festival at Hotel Martinez, I'm afraid to tell you that everything is booked already (yes, with a year in advance! We've got twelve months to become superstars and get VIP privileges). Most celebrities stay there during the event, and the night parties held at the Hotel Martinez are legendary.

All the celebrities are dressed and have their make-up and hair done at the fashion suites, where they also organize photoshoots and interviews. Here you have pictures of this year's suites... (It's the first time that Chanel doesn't have a suite, but they've reopened the Cannes boutique instead)
