How to wear a white shirt: the Olsen, Olivia Palermo, Alexa Chung and more it-girls

A white shirt is one of the most elegant pieces you can wear. It goes with everything and it adds a sophisticated touch to every outfit. It's one of my favourite clothing items.

The Olsen twins (and now Elizabeth too) wear white shirts a lot. Ashley uses them for working girl looks, straight hair in a bun, and pencil skirts, and Mary-Kate chooses oversize shirts for her casual style. Elizabeth Olsen's looks are more risky and unique. What do you think?

Olivia Palermo is a huge fan of white shirts, she has lots of outfits with them! She pairs them with blazers, embroidered jackets, masculine suits, college looks... Alexa Chung is the original and boyish one, she wears them with loose bow-ties, shorts or miniskirts.
