Bimba & Lola F/W 2011 Presentation: Favourite things

It’s great that one of my favourite labels is Spanish, because when I buy something from them, I say to myself: “Hey, you are supporting spanish fashion!” and that’s always a good thing.

Today was the Bimba & Lola F/W 2011 presentation in Madrid, and I’m happy to announce that they’ve made even more fantastic accesories and clothes for next season. The inspiration was the Andes, the peruvian prints and the rockabilly look. Quite a good mix, right? Alexa Chung meets Coco Summer meets Pixie Geldof meets Margot Tenembaum. Oh, and it’s the first time they use the red colour.

Their jewelry is outstanding and risky, I love that kind of statement pieces (see the turtle necklace). I’d buy everything! (some pieces will be available in august, and the full collection will get to the stores as the next season comes).

The big news? They’re gonna sell nail polish too! A selection of some cool colours will hit the stores accompanying the collection.

    Bimba y Lola es desde mi punto de vista una de las marcas de moda española que mejor aúna alta calidad con precios realmente buenos.

    Apoyemos más a nuestras "Spanish Fashion brands" porque se lo merecen!!

    Ohhhh me encantan las tortuguitas! y el rollo étnico, peruano, con los anillos de burritos, el colgante de cuentas de los loros, el abrigo de leopardo (que se puede llevar bien y es elegantísimo), y los accesorios con flecos. Decididamente, me han encantado las fotos que has hecho, recogiendo todos los detalles! :)
