Covers in drawing by John Paul Thurlow + Birthday Boy (Calibre)



I found these amazing drawings by JP Thurlow today. I had already read about him in Susie Bubble's blog, as he made a drawing for her for a real cover.

I love the detail of the drawings.

This is the S/S 09 campaign for Calibre. For their 20th anniversary the australian brand hired Magnus Unnar and model Garrett Neff and created a very nice campaign.

    Wow, las portadas increíbles!
    Es super difícil dibujar el cabello de forma natural! Y en todos los dibujos está perfecto! Al igual que el sombreado.
    La portada de la revista Crash con la imagen de la modelo superpuesta en el texto de fondo, insuperable.
    La verdad se requiere mucho talento para dibujar tan bien.

    increíble! me encantan las portadas
    la primera no la reconozco pero veo una mezcla entre david bowie y kate moss, lo que se me hace sensacional!!

    te recomiendo a otros dos dibujantes geniales que usan solamente el lapiz

    silvia prada y sito mujica.

    Silvia hace de todo, Sito es mas personal...

    Y si quieres alucinar mira el trabajo de Juan Francisco Casas.

    El utiliza boli bic y hace dibujos que podrian ser fotos de terry richardson...
