Leighton Meester was seen wearing Paul Ka + Kirkwood shoes this week, along with extra heavy make-up... what do you think? I think it was a very risky choice, and I praise her for that because she usually dresses very Hervé Leger-ish.
Anyway, I really like this outfit, even though I still have some doubts about the make-up. Oh, and the background is brilliant! Well done, American Eagle Outfitters. It demonstrates that yuou don't need to cover the wall with thousands of labels.
And also, there seems to be an agreement between celebrities in terms of showing the bra... I think Chloë Sevigny and Leighton Meester pull it off very well! They look very beautiful in those outfits. Chloë's skirt would have looked more proportioned if it were shorter, just a little.

Me encanta Leighton, pero esta vez me parece un poco too much todo! Chloé sí me gusta, pero como dices tú, la falda un poco más corta le habría quedado mejor!

Oh, I think Leighton looks terrible! The makeup...eek! Surprisingly, Chloe seems to pull the look off, because it's more 'subdued'...

ReplyDeleteAnd Chloe's bra...somehow Leighton's is more acceptable because it's less *shaped* like a bra, if that makes sense. In general, I think it's totally acceptable. When it's warm out, mine's nearly always showing, though not quite like these...more from baggy or white tank tops than anything else.

The outfit looks cool on leighton but she could use a facial and a spa with such a tired and haggard looking face. Chloe looks sexy granny. Yes, the skirt is too long.

Soy muy poco objetiva, las dos me parecen maravillosas siempre!!! me encanta cómo llevan la tendencia de enseñar el sujetador, lo hacen de forma desacomplejada, natural, elegante y sexy (ya he dicho que me encantan!!). El único fallito que encuentro a Chloë es que va un pelín exhuberante, me refiero a que quizá se podría haber puesto un sujetador que le apretase un poco menos... Pero de todas maneras me siguen encantando!!
ReplyDeleteY lo que me vuelve loca de Leighton es lo atrevida que llega a ser, no tiene miedo a arriesgarse, no recurre a lo típico. Puede que éste no sea su mejor look, pero creo que está genial de todas formas.
Me gusto mas el vestido de la foto de arriba, que el de abajo.

Its nice to see her being a little more daring in her choice of clothing. I dislike her eye makeup though, much to heavy on the lower lash line and it ruins the look.
ReplyDeleteAh, I like the dress+ showing bra, but the eye makeup with bright red lipstick was just too overwhelming for me, I think. If she had been a little subtler with her smoky eye makeup and liptsick, it couldve been soo much better!

ReplyDeleteNormally the basic rule is, that at strong eye makeup only lipgloss and at nood eyes strong lipstick.
But still she is pretty.
At Chloe I am not sure. She is too curvy for this outfit. This style is rather for flatchested girls.
