Bimba & Lola S/S 2012 Jewelry

I was at the Bimba & Lola S/S 2012 presentation yesterday, and as I expected, the collection is awesome. They've been inspired by the Memphis and Las Vegas culture, mixing materials and styles. Palm trees, convertible cars, glitter, stars, cactus... The designs for the jewelry are fun, original and surprising (photos of the clothes soon)  Let's allow the items speak for themselves:

Fashion magazines are my guilty pleasure. Every month I wait for them to come out, and I buy them in pairs, so  I can enjoy each of them at a time.

I think every magazine has a personality. Vogue US is the socialite from the Upper East Side, Dazed and Confused is the that fun friend who always has the craziest ideas, Vogue Paris is a provocative girl... It's fur coat season!: Where to get the best styles

 The good thing about Winter is that you can wear layers and layers of clothes and it looks great. And if it's really cold, you can wear a fantastic coat. Fur coats are one of them. If they fit you (it's difficult, most times they make you look like a 70 years old woman), they are one of the best basics on your wardrobe, and they are so comfortable... :) Even better if you can find the style you like in fake fur. Topshop has lots of them in every style and shape.

Second hand shops are a good place to find cheap fur coats, you might find a cute one if you're lucky. But for now, let's have a look at the high street shops. Here you have a selection from 49,95€ to 1250€, inspired by the great muses: Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller, the Olsen twins. and Kate Moss.

Lo bueno del invierno es que te puedes poner capas y capas de ropa y queda genial. Y si hace mucho frío, te pones un buen abrigo. Los de pelo son uno de ellos. Si te quedan bien (es difícil, pues a veces te hacen parecer una señora), son un gran básico de armario, y son tan confortables... :) Aún mejor si encuentras un estilo que te guste en piel falsa o sintética. En Topshop tienen muchos distintos.

Las tiendas de segunda mano son un buen lugar para encontrar abrigos que no sean muy caros, si tienes suerte podrás hacerte con uno que te guste. Mademoiselle Chocolat

Victoria Soto is Mademoiselle Chocolat, a young spanish artist who designs beautiful t-shirts using her own drawings and collages. She studied Arts in Rome, and after her friends asked her to produce t-shirts and accesories, she has opened a blog where she sells her creations to every fashion lover. 

Every t-shirt is handmade, and if you see a drawing that you really love, you can choose the colour of the t-shirt, the size, the cut... It's personalized!

Victoria Soto es Mademoiselle Chocolat, una joven artista española que diseña unas camisetas preciosas utilizando sus propios dibujos. Estudió Bellas Artes en Roma, y tras las peticiones de sus amigos de que hiciera camisetas con sus ilustraciones y collages, ha abierto un blog donde vende sus creaciones a todos los fashionistas.

Dangerous fashion ad campaigns

As many of you already know, the Miu Miu ad with Hailee Steinfeld has been banned in the UK for being "irresponsible" and portrayed a child in an unsafe location. The advertising regulation rules are quite arbitrary, as there are many other dangerous and irresponsible ad campaigns that no one has complained about. Here you have a few (check the Fashionista selection too).

Como muchos ya sabréis, el anuncio de Miu Miu con Hailee Steinfeld en el que aparece sentada en las vías del tren ha sido censurado en Reino Unido, por "irresponsable" y por mostrar a una niña en un entorno inseguro. Las decisiones del comité regulador de anuncios (o como se llame) son bastante arbitrarias, ya que hay muchos anuncios "peligrosos" de los que nadie se ha quejado.
