Chanel at my door

Look what Chanel sent me... when I saw it I couldn't believe it. It'll be better if I explain it to you "step by step". Do you remember that beautiful commercial with Audrey Tautou? Jean Pierre Jeunet directed it... in the Orient Express, for Chanel Nº5. So, this is the limited edition chest that is sent to the most select journalists with all the details and information about the commercial. I must say that it is more of a piece of art than a commercial.

I had to show it to you because it is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. It is incredible how a brand can create a whole new world by the use of a word, "Chanel".

Mirad lo que me han enviado de Chanel... cuando lo ví no me lo podía creer. Será mejor que os lo explique por pasos. ¿Recordáis el anuncio tan bonito protagonizado por Audrey Tautou? Dirigido por Jean Pierre Jeunet... en el Orient Express, de Chanel Nº5. Pues veréis, éste es el cofre de edición limitada que envían a la prensa más selecta, con todos los detalles del anuncio. Debo decir que más que publicidad es una obra de arte, todo lo que toca Jean Pierre Jeunet (o Chanel) se convierte en oro líquido, o más bien, en Chanel Nº5.

Tenía que enseñároslo porque es una de las cosas más impresionantes que he visto. Es increíble cómo una marca puede sostenerse por lo que ella implica. Yo oigo Chanel y veo elegancia. Y éso se consigue con este tipo de cosas, cuidando la imagen en todos los detalles y aspectos.



Voilà! I opened the box and I found a golden Chanel passport with the story of the mythical parfume, and a replica of the whistle of the train, in gold too. /// Voilà! La caja se abre y muestra un pasaporte dorado Chanel con la historia del mítico perfume, además de una réplica en dorado del silbato del tren.
